Once again Tim McCoy is cast as Lightning Bill Carson, and again as a Mexican bandit. I stated in an earlier review that the Mexican bandit idea was ludicrous at best, since he never convincingly pulls it off. (Maybe he's not supposed too.) This film was shot completely outdoors. The in-the-tent scenes as brief as they are, have the sounds of the camera filming and its disconcerting. The film was pretty much thrown together.There are other technical flaws which I won't point out. It's a very mundane plot with just enough action for western fans and other kids big and small to appreciate. I'm a McCoy fan, but he's laughable here. Budd Buster as a desert rat has the best role and he chews up the scenery as only he could. Very good print and soundtrack, while muddy in spots, is O.K.too.
